      That turned out not to be real reporting and reputable outlets covering it retracted the story, but I wouldn’t put it past Microsoft to decide its a great idea

        i personally think it was real: it was a controlled “leak” to test the waters (or to prove to the executives to change course), and when the reaction was so predictably overwhelmingly negative the executives maybe woke up a little?

        Oh really? Guess they were testing what public opinion would be. They deserve the fury of the public at least to guide them lol
