    Great example of how people get into abusive relationships. Imagine if OOP was less able to stand up for themselves.

    Also, the irony of going to the UK because your family kicked you out for being transfem.

    And why are people even downvoting this post so much? Do they just hate reading a story about a trans person who is an asshole?

      I think part of the downvotes are because there’s really not a lot of humor in this story, it’s just a sad story with no message or humour.

        It definitely has a message IMO, it’s a story about how governments shitting all over asylum systems and minorities promotes abusive relationships and also trans people are human and thus can be assholes just like every other group.
        But I guess I can see how it doesn’t deliver what most people expect from a greentext.
