It’s like how when you play Mario Kart, Toad can speed up real quickly compared to Bowser, but give Bowser a long straight away and he’ll eventually be going faster than Toad.

Because Toad is lighter weight, I guess. I’m not sure how that logic leads to Bowser being faster Max speed.
