    I love spiders.

They’re actually really nice. A lot of them learn your schedule and they do their best to not come out when you’re around.

I’d take the can and lighter and use them on that guy instead. Save the spider the trouble.

Agreed! Spiders are super cool little critters that do so much good. I followed the coolest green lynx spider in my backyard last year, she went from a tiny baby missing 2 legs to this big hulking mama that ate her mate and produced so many babies. I loved her so much 💚

I’ve never understood people’s fear of spiders. They are so small, what is there to be afraid of? 🤷‍♀️

My wife’s arachnophobic, and apparently the way their legs move has a lot to do with it. Jumping spiders, with their stubby little legs, don’t creep her out like other spiders do.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard. I guess I wasn’t born with that fear because I’ve always gravitated towards creepy crawlies ever since I was a little girl. My mom also encouraged my toddler love of bugs, she didn’t let her own fears show because she saw how interested I was in them and didn’t want to hold me back. I know the reason, I just don’t understand the reason for the fear/discomfort if that makes sense.

And jumping spiders are adorable little things 🥰

On a side note, Arachnophobia is one of my favorite movies and I always root for the spiders 🤣
