The FBI reportedly warned California police departments in February that Iran could retaliate against the U.S., if it were to conduct strikes, by using drones aimed at the West Coast, according to an alert viewed by ABC News.
The alert, distributed at the end of February, told law enforcement that the FBI had “recently acquired information that as of early February 2026, Iran allegedly aspired to conduct a surprise attack using unmanned aerial vehicles from an unidentified vessel off the coast of the United States Homeland, specifically against unspecified targets in California, in the event that the U.S. conducted strikes against Iran.”

I too found it interesting that “Iran” would target Trump’s most disliked state.
The vast majority of the Iranian diaspora is in California, and many of them are Pahlavists. I’d think that high concentration of Iranian immigrants would make it easier for an operative to hide within as well.
While I don’t trust the FBI, there are conceivable reasons why they’d target California.

Well those dang West coast liberals didn’t vote hard enough for Trump. If anything does happen…the West coast get what’s coming to them, because why would the US president worry about states that didn’t vote for him??? I say as someone living on the West Coast.

If Iran attacks American soil where civilians live in anyway that would be a failure of the presidency to protect the public. Immediate removal of the executive branch and new elections need to happen if Iran is successful with an attack.
