Donald Trump on Tuesday urged the Supreme Court to once again step into his messy legal brawl with magazine columnist E. Jean Carroll, appealing an $83.3 million jury verdict for defamation on the grounds that, as president, he is immune from the litigation.
The appeal, which has not yet been docketed at the high court, relies heavily on the court’s 2024 decision granting the president wide immunity for actions taken in office.
Trump is worse he isn’t out of office and not causing harm. He just hasn’t got to the gas chamber part of his plans yet. But it fucking coming if he allowed to retain power.
In 1938 Hitler seized the Sudetenland (modern day Slovakia and Czechia) that was just before the gas chambers. If trump seizes Greenland, then I’ll say he’s on track to be worse than Hitler. As it stands, as horrible as trump is, he barely ranks against Hitler so far.
I know trump is abhorrent, but don’t downplay the inhuman sins Hitler committed against the world and the people of 20th century Europe.
