    I’m not sure of the advantage, docking the device instead of putting the batteries in a recharger? The batteries do not need to be charged that often anyway, and that would increase the cost of every device, as opposed to just buying one charger that should last for a very, very long time.

    Putting batteries in a charger isn’t difficult.

      Batteries of a mouse don’t need to be charged that often. But how about flashlights, headphones and the like? Internal batteries have their uses. Even with a mouse, you could still use it while it charged.

        I guess that would depend on how often you used the torch, for me rechargeable batteries last for years in them.

        My headphones have a cord, because logic (for my use case anyway). I have no idea how long batteries tend to last in cordless ones.

        So with the mouse, what you are saying is that you could use it while it was plugged in with a cord?
