The fact that ppl still use that fascist platform is beyond me. Where is the boycott?
Honestly I wonder if this skews the data at all. 10 people use Twitter, 1 of which is fascist; 5 decent people leave, and now the site is 10% more fascist. Is that driving users more rightward, or driving off more left audiences?
Interesting. But the ratio and total users would both change. Are ppl actually quitting Twitter at all?
Since Musk bought it? Yes-ish. Per Business of Apps, Twitter has maintained around the same user counts, but that is through gains and losses across demographics. Women have fled the platform; what used to be fairly equal is now 2:1 men to women. US users are down 15%-20%. What has grown commensurately is right wing international users, further skewing the average political slant on the platform.
Which was the purpose of Elon Musk buying it all along.

There’s a surprising number of very stubborn and slightly delusional (they’ve convinced themselves they’re doing good by staying on Xitter and “fighting”) leftists on there unfortunately.
I thought the Nazi salute would be the nail in the coffin but apparently those people can’t comprehend social media isn’t just a space like the person who owns it literally can control everything and easily manipulate you.
Celebrities they worship are still on there so another reason they refuse to leave.
