Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said the country 'stands ready' to take part in the defense of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Jordan, as war in the Middle East threatens to metastasize.

French people don’t know this, but Defense is one of the most important sector of the French economy, alongside tourism and luxury.

Many know, If you look at job opening in France, may-be would be more or less linked to the defence sector.
