It’s a “no shit” comment.
People are tired of these lazy negative takes and are letting you know that you’re putting them out there. For my part I end up deleting a fair amount of my posts/comments after I type them these days, noting internally that I am doing little more than whinging for the sake thereof; give it a whirl sometime.

Replaced a self hosted Wireguard/OVPN setup that was used to navigate corporate/public networks with Netbird a few months ago and haven’t looked back. Never having hosted Tailscale, I am impressed with the flexibility and routing an overlay VPN offers, particularly with Netbird’s management UI. The project itself seems well maintained and the team regularly adds new features, many of which I have not bothered to explore yet.
Give it a go I say.

I suspect it’ll be ignored like so much else in this hysterical market. The question is how can they spin the new metrics; creative reporting abounds.

Anyone running this that wants to comment on the stability? I am using synapse/ap on my test container and was wondering if this is worth keeping a closer eye on…

I’m not quite sure what you are asking but I run the Netbird management containers on a server and also run a native Netbird client alongside them (not in docker) to have the server itself also perform as a peer. Is that what you are looking to do above?
