This is a troublesome study making conclusions from only French people and doesn’t take into account the food that said things are commonly in. Or other social factors specific to French people.

Krisp also has software for this. It certainly does not “capture their natural tone and speaking voice”. It’s very uncanny and doesn’t capture verbal cues like a “heh”.
