Like i just wrote in a comment on the github discussion: What worries me about this isn’t really the AI usage, it’s the fact that strycore’s response to the backlash was hostile and to hide its usage.
That is to me an immediate disqualification from ever having your code trusted at all, and puts what was written before into question as well.

The only good solution i see to this is them stepping down and someone else taking over, ideally several people.

i get semantic whitespace in python, it makes it less scary for beginners and i personally find it objectively easier to read.

But for config files (which afaik is the whole point of yaml) the parens don’t even get in the way, they’re actively helpful to find where a section of the config starts and ends! aurgh
