Well, you got me there.

Well, you got me there.

It’s difficult to think of a more punchable face than Sam Altman’s.

I did a quick search and other suggestions are to fill the “mic hole”, stick a needle in the mic hole to damage the mic, and applying a soldering iron to the mic. My LG tv has no visible mic hole, so they are getting crafty at hiding them.

Is it possible to physically disable the mic on the TVs without adversely affecting other functions? I see no reason a mic to be necessary on a TV at all.

someone must have dirt on him

Pay who?

Noted. I’m not arguing either side, but it’s possible that there is a bias against older people based on anecdotal experience. To you point though, there probably are many things that factor into the policy. If older people are driving less, they still are a lower risk to crash as a demographic.

I looked up Illinois’ most recent crash stattistics and found that 75 and older had some of the lowest crash rates, about 3x less crashes than 18-19 year olds, even with about 2.5 times more licensed drivers in the 75+ age bracket.

Das Boot Part 2

Right? I can’t believe how easily we all get suckered into the latest shiny object. This is just another distraction to keep us looking the other way. Another example of flooding the zone. Meanwhile, on polymarket …
I keep seeing it framed as the data centers using too much water. They need the water for the excessive HEAT they produce, with all the ELECTRICITY generated by (in mist cases) FOSSIL FUELS.
