24 days agoThe only argument I’ve ever heard about the draft that actually made me consider it was that if everyone was in the army at some point, we would look ar wars very differently.
The number one thing people hated about Vietnam was the draft. The biggest thing that mobilized the American people to protest the war was the draft. Not the death of Americans, but the death of “my Americans”.
It might make us a LOT less warlike…
This is why I propose we just make guy gender neutral. I feel like it’s already half way there.
