Its an outliner, a colleague of mine basically lives in that thing.

It’s almost perfect for me but the browser based editing made it unusable because there is no way to unmap Ctrl + W in a browser and I can’t live without my Vim bindings.

This is the solution for normal people who don’t spend n+1 hours tweaking their editor configuration.

Technology@lemmy.world•Kagi silently removed all references to Google's index from their websiteEnglish
1·2 years agoI unsubscribed and deleted my Kagi account mainly because of their attitude to data privacy but also because of their nutjob CEO. When I subscribed I was excited because I thought they wanted to build a proper competitor to other search engine operators, but they are actually just another company that tries to shove AI into absolutely everything. So, after realising that they are an untrustworthy company full of tech maximalists trying to build the torment nexus, I immediately canceled my subscription and moved back to duckduckgo and marginalia. Maybe I give SearXNG another go, it’s just that selfhosting is a bit of a bother.

Really? I find it quite feature packed for a notes taking app.
