We can only hope this helps kill the fad. I know companies won’t be taking any realistic lesson from this, but at least this can force them to abandon a lot of this crap.

We need the gayest of crimes to make a comeback. Stonewall style.

I agree with you and the other commentor here, just want to add that a lot of reporting stays away from hard numbers because it’s hard for both the reporter and most readers to grasp.
Our critical thinking and mathematical issues in education definitely go back beyond the lead paint days, and a lot of journalists will try to smooth out the numbers.
As you say, it’s also sometimes done for sensationalism, but this one reads more like the journalist either never got the hard numbers or didn’t think the audience would follow along with them.

They will never see prison or justice until the common people take back the power to put them there. This is their plan. Same shit, different venue. Financial, wage, privacy, surveillance, due process, and enforcement violations/transgressions/iniquities, all, point in the same direction.
Basically, “It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it.” Can only change through direct and persistent opposition and action against bad faith actors.

We’re past the point of redistribution. We need to take it out of their hides as well.

That lady in the thumbnail’s look is perfect. Just, “Are you fucking kidding me?”
Narco Rubio needs to be binned with the other trash.

That scientist sure looks like he has experience with clean burning propane and propane accessories, I tell you hwat!

The time is past due to excise the cancer.

By no means am I a Biden stan, but the inflation reduction act was a massive step in the right direction coming off of the previous presidency. One which was immediately reversed after 2024.

If I were practicing, I would be suuuuper hesitant to do that in any half reasonable jurisdiction. Bar associations (and judges) take client fees pretty seriously and attorneys are already obligated to review everything (even if it’s a fiction we all turn a blind eye to).

I feel it. To be entirely honest, it was already probably sent by an underpaid secretary or paralegal. Now it’s just more apparent that they have too large a caseload.
If it impacts the case, you can see about having them hand it off to another lawyer, but that is definitely something to be strategic about (especially depending on the nature of the work).
Most attorneys are willing to pick up a case or contract work with a sort of finders fee to the first attorney that depends on how much work was done before the handoff.
Not sure if it’ll work for you, but I’d try an honest conversation as a lot of the times, attorneys are aware that certain cases/clients aren’t the right fit or they may be unable to handle the caseload.

“But why male models?”
Omelette…
The main revolution I want to see is the rejection of ideas/cultures that isolate and divide us. I think if people are able to push past apathy and fear, we can make our communities and lives a lot more caring and growthful.
Lots of other things need to change, but personal responsibility and stewardship of your own community can produce tangible results, show others that we don’t have to live in constant fear and anger, and eventually lead to more positive change.
