Yeah, I should have clarified here that the “parry” isn’t literal here, but learning to defeat a common enemy of everyone.
She/her pronouns. With the help of a lot of cool people, I got the meds I needed to rejoin piefed/lemmy. It wasn’t great by any means going full pi-bolar on someone that didn’t deserve it, yet here I am.

No, I very have much read Berserk several times. The “parry” here is not literal (I am well-aware that Gatsu eventually defeats Griffith with sheer brutality), but learning to stop capitalism from continuing to commit mass murder, (figuratively in this sense) rape those closest to you, and rule the world is paramount. Even if we have to chop off our own hand with a dull and broken blade in order to retrofit a crossbow as it continues to to do so. Defeat the demons that haunt you (and us as a whole) while accepting help from odd places (like Puck) and not being deterred by literally overwhelming odds. The thing that Gatsu cares about most in the end is saving the people he cares about (especially Casca, and in this metaphor she’s the one that capitalism attacked the hardest). Yes, for what is written he winds up on a boat and the new chapters are very slow to come out (yes, there are new chapters!) but in a sense that symbolizes an eternal struggle to find a cure.

Part of the point here is that Guts eventually defeats Griffith in a mirror scene.

I understand how to edit posts. Please re-read and get back to me about the implied intent of that comment.

I honestly had no idea as to this before I saw a previous post. That’s how AMD markets this thing, though. I’d be very appreciative as to how I can edit this post in order for it to make sense to a wider audience.

It’s a weird feeling. They are by all standards the only gpu/chip manufacturer that has a good OSS series of drivers for Linux. They’ve gathered a lot of good will over the decades, and suddenly pull this very unreported thing because very few know about it.

It’s a creative suite made by AMD. They are removing the free option for Linux.

I have edited it with the 2nd screenshot. I’ve been going through a lot mentally so I’m self-conscious about posting incorrect information. I misread your comment as well.

I suppose I am confused about the whole thing. I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed. If what I thought was wrong, I will delete the post.
Edit; Adding that pic

I should have included this in the post, but if you look the free tier for Linux is gone.

Not in Buckhead, they aren’t. That’s where the mansions in Atlanta are.

This was a very well-said take. No notes.
I suppose that’s better than experiencing the Third Impact.
Thanks. This was really helpful.
Fat chance of a library running Linux in the US.

We went from Dan Quayle being universally shamed and humiliated for misspelling “potato” via an incorrect flash card provided by a teacher to… whatever the fuck this is.

In a way, this is just a reinvention of line quotas from the past. Neither are good for making something of quality.
I am not going to or trusting reddit to verify that. Someone posted it on fedi and I captioned it.
You asked if I had read the manga. His name is Gatsu, and is translated to Guts. You made a very unsubstantial claim, then doubled down on you yourself not having read Berserk.
