I can’t defend their past decisions but since 2019 they’ve stopped donating to Salvation Army, etc (YouTube link) in an effort to not exclude people from charity. Last year a local store in Utah celebrated a gay marriage that they catered and corporate doubled down, pissing off a bunch of MAGA chuds. Well, reactionary chuds, but nonetheless.

1·2 months agoI agree with your post 100% I think. Removing oneself from big tech/data services like Google and Microsoft is resisting the regime. It’s especially useful for folks that may not be able to get out and protest, meet with their representatives, etc.
As for me, I’m running my *arr/media stack for myself and my close friends and family. Fuck Disney, Netflix, and Paramount. For our household, HomeAssistant keeps the lights on and SyncThing backs up our files to the NAS.

Sounds like a really good way to keep your mind fresh after a traumatic event like a stroke. It’s important to keep your mind busy. Glad to hear you’re doing well, and thanks for sharing :)
