Utah my TCL phone is fucking awesome! It wasn’t listed in specs, but has one. I add a lot of interesting and unique privacy settings not found in other Android12 that I know of. Had a privacy audit mode to check through all apps and told you what it didn’t think needed permission to mic, contacts, etc. Beats going through each app to do this.

You can adjust this on your device (per device) or on your home modem/router/gateway, etc to cover all devices. Keeps Google, MS, Apple, ISP from tracking all online queries for all devices.

You can go one step further andd block all outgoing requests from all devices over port 53 and leave your router configured to do them all, then just configure you’re DHCP settings to use your gateway (like 192.168.1.1) for both gateway and DNS

Immich needs RAM so opt for more RAM if possible. I’m using Yunohost on an old box and have 8GB and Immich uses about 4-5 with all advanced features off.

Also, to data transfer anything, you’re locked to iTunes on a specific device, on Android I could sideload apps from my SD card if I wanted, move pictures or video, etc.
