The last 2 primaries were a disgrace. You can find a bunch of vocal progressives who didn’t vote or voted 3rd part, but the bigger problem has been the establishment completely ignoring trying to get democrats to get off the couch and vote and instead try to court sycophantic far right voters with weird anti-trans rhetoric or pushing class warfare under the guise of deregulation and “small government”.

5·6 days agoNot defending Trump and these attacks are a waste of human lives and a strategic shit-show, just getting ahead of a lot of the whitewashing of the current Iranian regime that’s already popping up. We all know Trump and think he’s a piece of shit. A lot of people haven’t been paying attention to what was going on in Iran. Literally thousands were killed for protesting just in the last few months.
Its important that just because what we’re doing is wrong, doesn’t mean Khamenei was a friend to Iranians or well liked. Iran was in the middle of a revolution that was being extremely violently repressed and that shouldn’t be whitewashed in the wake of US attacks.
Establishment Democrats aren’t your friends, they’re necessary temporary allies.
At the end of the day, getting people in who will tax the billionaires who have gotten much of that wealth from the government (your taxes) is what will actually fix it.
For now a blue vote is stopping the bleeding.
