They’re alleging that JDV is such a wet fart of a politician that his attempt to campaign for Organ led to Orban’s defeat.

This is made even funnier because fascists famously do not give up power peacefully when voted out, which implied JDV fucked it even more than ever previously thought possible.

how white liberals think fascism works: vote -> you are finished -> no, pls
how fascism works: vote -> you are finished -> no, pls

so it works exactly as white liberals think? why is it white liberals, do liberals of color think something else? which liberals think that hitler can (or was?) be voted out of power through elections?

these is no relation between that picture and your words other than the word “orban”. there isn’t even remote hint of jdv in that picture.

        so again - what? 😂

“We did it guys, we defeated fascism with the power of voting. Anyway just ignore how my politics are mostly identical to Orban with the rest being vague and undefined (like “ending corruption” or “supporting the EU”). All you need to know is that I support Ukraine and the EU, so what if I have no real concrete plans or the electoral power to do anything?”

The electoral power to anything is more than your party having seats, in a parliamentary system they can always spit off. He needs to ensure their loyalty and ensure he can pass anything without them backstabbing him (just ask Starmer)

But this is not the UK. This is hungary after its people ousted a fascist who couldnt consolidate Power fast enough. He, nonetheless, consolidated Power in the Position of the Prime Minister.

A prime minister with similar political positions who literally split off from Orbans party, yeah its still a parliamentary system and thus loyalty isn’t guaranteed

Getting rid of orban is hungary was cool but he was also replaced with a far right fascist right? Sooo I mean fascism survives and successfully changes figure heads to escape a higher level of public scrutiny?
