As much as I’d love to see it, there’s a lot of things you can do besides that to be grit in the gears of the machine. Why people don’t just mob around them and block them from going anywhere is beyond me.

This was preventable. Hopefully as progressives continue to gain traction we can see an America where facsism isn’t tolerated. It will take years to undo this systemic damage.
We can undo it real fast. When this is over, start arresting the goons who pull this clearly-illegal shit. Go after anybody who took part in it. Every thug on the street, every lawyer pretwnding what they’re doing is legal, every cabinet member giving the orders. All of them need to be locked up.
The while “healing as a nation” thing where the peons are absolved sounds nice, but all it’s really done is embolden fascists who will place the blame on a geriatric man if they fail and walk free despite all the death and destruction they’ve intentionally caused.
We need to make it clear that there are consequences for this shit for everyone involved, so that the next time someone tries this shit there won’t be anyone willing to risk backing them up.

If we just sit on our hands to wait until “this is over” then this will NEVER BE OVER.
