I think getting into a naval battle within the landmass of Asia would be worse.
I have never see this movie but could instanly hear the classic blunders line in the voice of Grand Nagus Zek.
Did they reference that line in ds9?
Take the time, watch the movie. Will not disappoint. You’re one of todays’ Ten Thousand, a particularly good one.
To my knowledge no, not in DS9, beyond the usage of ‘fool’, which he does so well, happy to be corrected.
Take the time, watch the movie. Will not disappoint.
And that’s coming from Captain Mal, so you know it’s good advice.
I didn’t like the movie. I loved it.
An individual of taste, right here.
it is well worth your time. this movie is timeless. It’s got everything, fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles.
The movie is outstanding, it’s a need-to-watch
The movie is fantastic. Endlessly quotable, cast is very easy on the eyes, keeps things moving.
The book was so sexist I had to bail.
TBF, that applies more to invading Ukraine.
Iran is in such a different level that it didn’t even become a classical blunder. It has just been right-out impossible through most of history.
Even though we have that famous “if you attack Persia a powerful empire will fall” one, that Trump managed to quote.
TBF, that applies more to invading Ukraine.
Or Korea, or Vietnam. Actually by now Ukraine seems more of a never invade Russia in winter blunder, made by Russia itself.
But a Princess Bride reference in these trying times is it’s own reward.
like half of The Art of War is just Sun Tzu explaining how different terrain works
And Iran is most of the wrong ones, might not stop Don Tzupid, weapons to sell…
