The contention seems to be that kink shaming is fine as long as you do it to Republicans, because their party is not accepting or respectful of the spectrum of human diversity.

Like I said, I am not agreeing with the contention, just explicating. If anyone asked my opinion, I would say that disagreeing with Republicans doesn’t make everything permitted. But then there are those who consider them Nazis and bring out the whole “punching Nazis” thing.
