If you are speaking about the UK’s Labour party, in it’s current form I would describe it as further left than the US democrats, but further right than the actual left wing parties like the Greens, Your Party and Bernie Sanders (and any other tiny socialist groups).
To me, that means center-right generally. Fully right on certain issues such as immigrants and trans rights.
Before Kier Starmer and Labour Together, I think they were center-left. Many people within the party are still trying to do good things and vote against Labour’s worst policies.

The current Labour Party, under Keir Starmer, are socially more right-wing than David Cameron’s Conservatives were - though not as far to the right as the procession of ghouls who followed Cameron.
It’s funny because Russia is a very very right wing imperialist oligarchy. Everything they say they hate about the US, Russia also is. I have multiple friends that escaped there and they tell it as essentially 1900s Jim crow in America with respect to people of color, lgbtq, etc… Just because a country is against the US, doesn’t mean it is perfectly good or bad.
Russia is Trump for tankies. Regardless of any horrors they do, whatever lines they cross, whatever lies/propaganda they get caught telling, they can no wrong and they will defend every choice and action to their last breath. It is purely a cult of personality, but the personality being against the US.
I get it too, I am not a fan of the US and try to buy everything possible European or Chinese, but I am not under any illusion that either EU countries or China have amazing, great governments or don’t have massive racism problems, surveillance problems, have committed uncounted atrocities, or have a big weathy corrupt elites problems.
Let’s just say for the sake of the argument that Ukrainians are Russians; How is it still not genocide if they are being systematically killed? 🤔

The sad thing is that those people don’t want to accept the fact that they moved further right, they’re convinced the whole world moved to the left.
Well that’s essentially what this is saying. Anything that’s not far left is far right. If you think it says something else, can you explain that to me?
The world is not black and white, but there are people who are far right. Based on their politics, their identity and the ways they express themselves.
If you agree with most of Reform UK’s policies, you’re on the spectrum pretty far on the right, that’s just a political fact. But it seems it’s almost worse to get called far right than it is to be far right.
If you largely agree with MAGA, you’re also far right.
But it’s also a fact that the Labour party in the UK, and most members of the DNC in the US are political centrists.
Sure mayor Mamdani in NYC is further on the left. Bernie Sanders also. You could even argue that Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is further to the left,not quite to the level of socialism, but at least Social Democrats.
But Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Keir Starmer? No, they’re nothing like far left. They’re not bringing in socialist values, let alone communist ones. They’re firmly in the center.

As far as I know nobody considers liberals far right. They’re just not leftwing.
And most Democrats and pretty much all of Labour are centrists too.Whereas MAGA rightwingers and Reform UK followers tend to believe that liberals are leftwing and that the Democrats/Labour are the harbingers of communism.
