The Ottoman Empire did never control anything in Central Asia. The Turks came to what became the Ottoman Empire over a thousand years ago.

Can you explain that one?
Back in the day it was a lot harder to move. People obviously did, but your great grandparents are about 80 years older then you. If you are are 40, then they might have been born in a time without planes and cars being pretty rarer. If you wanted to cross an ocean you took an ocean liner and most land travel was done on trains. Even those only became really big in the 1850s in many places in the Western world. Sure people moved, but it was somewhat rarer and a massive decision.
Also when 1 out of 16 did make a big move, then you still got a quite long history in that place.
They fixate on presumption and emotion because they cannot engage with intellectual debate.
People usually have an emotional standpoint first and then construct an intellectual argument for that emotional position. Also they mostly just ignore facts, that do not line up with their world view and if you “win” an argument, they usually just shut you out. So the best way is to go for emotions first.
There are something like 100k Israelis who are still alive and survived the Holocaust. That is mostly just due to the Holocaust ending over 80years ago and people die of old age.
Honestly I dislike the constant Holocaust comparisons. They play into Israeli propaganda, as the connection between Israel and Jews is very obvious and Jews were the victims of the Holocaust. That makes Israel look like a victim just defending itself.

Obviously it takes time until it is fully implemented and missiles take some time to reach Israel from Iran.

2·22 days agoA good chunk of the Iranian diaspora are the old supporters of the monarchy. Under the Shah Iran and Israel were allies. Also a lot of Iranians are strongly racist against Arabs. The fact that a lot of Arabs killed family members, when Iraq invaded them in 1980 and an eight year long bloody war followed, certainly does not help.
Not saying Israels genocide is a good thing, but the Iranian diaspora is probably a bad gauge to judge Iran by.

It is nearly tripple that of the EU. The gap is growing in both directions by the way.

No the US is taking ships sailing oil to Cuba. It is not just sanctions.

At least in Europe, serfdom did limit movement of the lower class a lot in huge parts of the continent. Not all of it, but a lot.
