Your source is pretty much correct. Maybe not strictly every Friday, but it’s in the rotation. Or it’s the go-to “fancy” meal when someone important comes to visit. It’s not good steak and crab legs either. Steak has to be prepared well done and I have no idea what’s going on with that crab.


Is this why my phone was suddenly enrolled in half a dozen text notification services at the same time last week? Or was that a different massive-scale data leak? It’s hard to keep track at this point.


iGoogle was great. It was a customizable personal dashboard with widgets you could drag and drop, including a really good built-in RSS reader. Which was pretty sweet at the time. Unfortunately, like any Google product that was actually good, it was discontinued in 2013.


I’m currently hosting everything on old desktop PCs and SBCs but fuck it, I’ll swipe some closeout hardware and upgrade to a proper server rack.


What do you think all those data centers are for?
Honestly that’s a lot more coherent than what I would expect from an LLM running on phone hardware.
