There is no mechanism for removing a member state from the EU other than a voluntary exit.
And as long as Hungary is getting any kind of monetary benefits from the EU, which Orban can steal, he won’t pull such a move.
Also his handlers in Moscow might find him more valuable in the EU than outside, so they likely would object to that.
A bathtub might very well be better than whatever Trump’s goons are setting up in all those warehouses they are currently renting all over the US…
Austria will charge people who get themselves into danger in the mountains recklessly for their rescue. And that’s right. Mountain rescue is dangerous. Those idiots don’t only endanger themselves, but also those who have to rescue them.
That doesn’t mean they must go there. Better use the money for the ticket to get your relatives out before it’s too late.

Still they might be able to negotiate a deal more like Norway and Switzerland.
Not really, because that would mean accepting regulatory alignment and freedom of movement, and paying their share.
If UK does manage to get a good deal with EU, things will return to almost normal, but the investments that were lost this past decade will remain lost. So UK will continue from the lower level they are at now.
Don’t worry, they won’t. And if they do, it won’t ever be as beneficial as their original EU membership was. Even a new EU membership won’t come with all the exemptions and special privileges the old one had. Many things that were optional (or didn’t yet exist) back when the UK originally joined the EU are now mandatory for new members. This is utterly unpalatable to UK politicians with their weird obsession about being the mighty empire of global Britain.
And everyone with half a brain cell has been warning of exactly this since when this Brexit madness started.
Any EU decision must be unanimous, though.
