They have given Iran military grade access to Beidou which has made their targeting much more effective. China is also sending missile parts and they have. Surveillance ship in the Gulf helping with ISR.
That’s dated just prior to the start of the war, which has me wondering if these radars were not yet positioned, if their crews are not yet trained or undertrained, or if these radars are not as good as are claimed. My guess is the first possibility.
The YLC-8B is an early detection radar, not a fire control radar. So even if they were able to track a stealth aircraft, it doesn’t mean they could effectively intergrade it with their prior aa system.
Also the Chinese intelligence ship Liaowang-1 is cruising off the coast of Oman in international water…
Let’s say its highly unlikely that the IRGC managed to destroy the $300M THAAD in Jordan, multiple AN/TPY-2 radar sites, precision strikes inside the US embassy green zone on Bagdad, etc, all on their own.
Trading, but not really offering any aid (that we know of) beyond that.
