All we know is that the Israel government was asked for a $827 million emergency package to purchase military equipment, just two weeks after the war has started. And Israel did not have nothing to start with, as they have prepared the war for months and are generally well stocked due to the location.
So yeah, even if you can’t believe them what they are saying, this money would have not been necessary if everything was going by plan.
