Depending on how “refuses to cook” comes across, that’s a negative in my book. I won’t want to cook every meal, I’d burn out. It’s a requirement that they are at least willing to do it sometimes. (I like cooking, but some days are just overly draining and I need help)
That’s just a normal pan size amount of lasagna? 30x20 or 13x9 in freeedom units. Are people wasting time making small pan sizes? Lasagna is amazing leftovers.
I dated a rich girl for a while who didnt cook, none of her family could. They had a part time maid who would cook for them a bit but mostly ate out and brought home extra meals. Like literally, every time they went out they’d order a couple extra meals to go.
At one point the mom was sad she couldnt get shrimp scampi anywhere in town. So I cooked dinner for them, because NBD. They thought it was magic, doubly so because im a guy. I litterally had to remove the plastic wrapping off the inside of the oven door to make garlic bread, and all the pots and pans still had stickers in the bottom.
At one pojnt I also had to teach my 38 year old GF how to operate a washer and dryer.

Cooking because it’s your “traditional role as a woman:” no
Cooking because it’s fun and the Food Network made you overconfident: yes
“women belong in the kitchen”? WRONG
We’re cooking 5kg of Lasagna for tonight’s gathering and we need all hands on deck
I love being Italian sometimes

I make the 13x9 FU pan, but I only cook for myself.
Ouch, Friday I am going to try something because seriouseats made it seem reasonable, and I’m feeling called out
